After art studies, I learned the making of wrought-iron in the Community of "Les Compagnons du Devoir du Tour de France" in Saint-Etienne.
Fond of ancient knives & swords, I made a smith-training in Lyon for five years. This gave me the opportunity to create & make outstanding wrought-iron pieces.
In the same time, I improved my experience in "damascus steel" & "wootz steel" (an archeological technique of manufacturing steel).
Then, I had another three years training-period in which I learned making art-knives, smelting-bronze, gold & silver-smithing, & elaboration of archeological steels.
In winter 2006, I started setting up my own workshop in Saint-Clair-sur-Galaure, a place full of patrimonial & metallurgical history since the Middle-ages, going on improving my creations technically & artistically.
